Food did not taste great and had none of the traditional Japanese flavors. Sides were missing in my tempura order.
Quickly prepared for a Friday night, the rice was of a good texture and flavor, the fish seemed fresh and tasty. The menu is more the traditional sushi and sashimi, nothing overly creative. The miso is okay, the ginger just a tiny bit tough. For the money, it's just fine.
Good, fresh sushi. A little expensive, but can't go wrong with the quality and service at Niwa!
